Meet Natalie Aguilar

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from Eldorado HS in 2001.  I met my husband as a senior in HS through one of our friends.  We dated for 3 years and were married on July 4th of 2003.  We have been married for almost 11 years!  My husband currently serves in the Air Force so I have been a military wife for 10 years.  We have lived in NM, FL, AK, ID, and now UT.  I love that we have had the opportunity to live in different places and meet new people and see so many new things!  We have 4 children - Eric 6, Evan 4, Elise 2 and Emily 4 months.  I have a love for crafting and sewing!  When my first daughter was small I started a small business - Lil Beauty Boutique on Facebook and Etsy where I sell girls headbands :)  That's pretty much me!!

Natalie is a darling lady, and a humble one at that. I am sure she has had some interesting experiences and will have some stories to share with those who get to know her. Her husband is deployed and has a year left in his deployment. Natalie is currently holding down the home front and juggling her young family on her own and I am sure she would love and appreciate friendships and all the helping hands she can get. It has been a pleasure getting to know her.

                                                               Meet Jana Fowers

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and spent my growing up years in Mexico City, because my father was a U.S. Diplomat.
Attended a private American School where most of the children had fathers who were CEO's of U.S. companies, like Ford, Coca-Cola,
etc.  We were accepted at first, but as we got into high school, our LDS upbringing made us so different, that it was hard to have
friends.  I spent my senior year attending a small high school in the mountains of Arizona, where I cared for my grandmother, younger
sister, and help teach seminary to the Apache Indians.
It was a welcome relief to go off to BYU and only be responsible for myself.  Graduated from BYU, taught school, went back for a Master's,
went on a mission and met Elder Fowers at the train station in Geneva, Switzerland.  Not love at first sight.  Instead I stamped my foot
at him and called him a "dumb Elder".  (Ended up with a brain concussion later when my motor bike was sideswiped, and I must have forgotten
that first encounter.)
We were married about eight months after I returned from my mission, and moved to Logan where Sam had one more year at USU.  I taught
school at Providence Elementary, finishing the year on a Friday.  Sam graduated on Saturday, and our first child was born on Sunday. (Incredible
timing!)
The following week we moved to Washington D.C.
We have now lived in Davis County about 30 years.  We have nine children, all graduates of Davis High and twenty grandchildren.  All wonderful,
smart, and we love them to pieces!!
Sam and I enjoy guiding Church History tours which we have done for a dozen years.  I have had a private pre-school in my home while my children
were young.  Then moved on to making quilts, decorating houses.  A side hobby has been designing and building homes.  Have taught Spanish
for several years in the school district, and the latest stint of teaching was nine years at the County Jail.  Finally got the "get out of Jail" card and
am happy to have more free time to talk about essential oils and play with the grands.
I love to travel, love to be with family and friends, and love the Gospel and my Savior with all my heart.  Am so grateful for all the wonderful
opportunities I've had over the years and happy to be here with the good people of this neighborhood!!

Jana is an incredible lady with so many life experiences,
she has done it all and is still going strong. Please don't
hesitate to get to know Jana, and let her know what an incredible
                                    lady she is.

Meet the White family

Meet Liz White

Liz grew up in Kennewick Washington. She graduated from BYU in Elementary Ed. (Elementary school teacher). Liz has been married for 15 years. She met her husband playing soccer where she created her own, in my opinion,  Bachelorette by recruiting a bunch of men to play soccer with her. I love it! (smart lady).Liz has six children, Emily (14), Benjamin (12), Daniel (10), Rachael (8),Sarah(6), and Seth(2). They moved into their home in December  from Syracuse. They love their nice new home where their children have lots of room to run. Liz plays the violin and is currently taking piano lessons. She is all about easy recipes and has created a easy recipe website at EasyrecipesbyLiz.com. She is also starting a preschool in her home, (She will be great). Liz is an incredible lady and has a darling family. They have suffered a loss recently and could use much love and support from their new extended family, us of course! I hope we all take the time to welcome this wonderful family into the neighborhood.

Meet Lindsey Torgesen

I was born in Washington, D.C, but I grew up in Idaho Falls.  I graduated from Idaho Falls High School, and then went to BYU and received by degree in Human Biology.  I have always loved science and have been fascinated in how the body works.

Sam and I met at BYU.  It’s a long story, but skiing brought us together.  Once I found out that Sam loved to ski, I knew that we had to go.  Our first date was magical: perfect weather, a fun day skiing at Sundance, and it seemed that we had everything in common.   That summer (1997) we were married in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Sam was born in Provo, but grew up in Maryland.  He loves sports, and is a huge Arsenal soccer fan and Dallas Cowboys fan. He also loves to ski, play tennis and golf (I’m trying to learn to spend more time with him).

After graduating from BYU, Sam and I moved to Sacramento where Sam went to law school.  After law school, we moved to Boston in 2001, where Sam pursued post graduate studies in tax law.

After graduating in 2002, we moved to Idaho Falls, and after 7 years of struggling with infertility, we had our first miracle, Alexa in 2004.  The twins were our second miracle, and came a short 20 months later.   My children taught me that I can get through hard things, and that I can do hard things.

When Alexa was 2, and the boys were 11 months old, we moved to Kaysville, and Sam took a job in the legal department at Zions Bank, where he works now.

Alexa (9) is in third grade, and my twin boys, Max (7), and Gunnar (7), are both in first grade.  Alexa loves to read, write stories, dance, do makeovers, and play the piano.  The boys love skiing, riding bikes, karate, Legos, Star Wars, The Avengers, Transformers, and of course their video games.

I love to create: I love to cook, bake, knit, scrapbook, travel, play the piano. I also love to spend time in the outdoors skiing, running, riding my bike, and playing tennis.
It has been great getting to know Lindsey she is an incredibly supportive wife and a loving Mom. I hope we all take the time to welcome her into our ward and neighborhood.
